Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Farevix handles personal information on farevix.com (the “site”). Farevix CPQ and our other products are in development; this policy covers the website. Any product we release will come with its own privacy terms.

Who we are

Farevix LLC, 8 The Green, STE R, Dover, Delaware 19901, United States, and Farevix Technologies Private Limited, The Executive Zone, Shakti Towers, Ground Floor, 766 Anna Salai, Chennai 600002, Tamil Nadu, India (“Farevix”, “we”, “us”). We decide how the information described here is used, which makes us its controller (its “data fiduciary” under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023). What we collect

• Contact form: your name, work email, company or organization, your role if you give it, the topic you choose (for example early access or a design partnership) and your message.
• Careers form: your name, email, a profile or portfolio link if you give one, the area that interests you and your message.
• Emails you send us, and whatever you choose to include in them.
• Technical data recorded by our hosting provider whenever a page is requested: IP address, browser and device type, the page requested and the time. This is used to deliver the site and keep it secure.

Please don’t send us sensitive information, such as health or financial details. We don’t need it.

What we don’t do

• The site uses no analytics, advertising or social media trackers.
• The site does not set cookies.
• We do not sell personal information or share it for targeted advertising.
• We do not make automated decisions about you that have legal or similarly significant effects.
• We will not add you to a mailing list unless you ask us to.

How we use your information, and why

• To reply to you and continue the conversation you started. We rely on our legitimate interest in answering inquiries, or on steps you ask us to take before a possible contract.
• To consider early access and design partner requests, on the same bases.
• To consider you for a role if you send an introduction through the careers form. We rely on steps you ask us to take before a possible contract and on our legitimate interest in hiring.
• To keep the site secure and working, based on our legitimate interest in running a safe website.
• To meet legal obligations where they apply.

Who processes it for us

• Vercel Inc. hosts the site and processes the technical data described above.
• Formspree, Inc. receives what you submit through our forms, forwards it to us by email and keeps a copy in our Formspree account.
• Our email provider stores the messages we receive and send.

These providers process information on our behalf and are required to protect it. We may also disclose information where the law requires it, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, in which case this policy would continue to protect it.

International transfers

Our providers are based in the United States, and our team works from the United States and India, so your information may be processed outside your country. Where the law requires it, we rely on appropriate safeguards for these transfers, such as standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep it

• Inquiries and related emails: as long as we need them to respond and follow up, then for no more than 24 months, unless we enter a business relationship, in which case for as long as that relationship lasts and the law requires.
• Careers introductions: up to 12 months, then deleted, unless you agree to us keeping them longer or you join us.
• Hosting records: for the limited period set by our hosting provider.

When we no longer need information, we delete it or make it anonymous.

How we protect it

The site is served only over encrypted connections (HTTPS), with security headers that limit what pages can load and where forms can send data. Access to submissions is limited to the people at Farevix who need it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and will tell you about a breach where the law requires it.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you can ask us to:

• tell you what personal information we hold about you and give you a copy;
• correct or complete it;
• delete it;
• stop or limit how we use it, or object to a use based on our legitimate interests;
• send it to you in a portable format;
• withdraw any consent you have given, without affecting what happened before.

In the European Union, the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom, you can also complain to your data protection authority.

In California and other US states with privacy laws, you can ask what we have collected, and ask us to correct or delete it. We do not sell or share personal information as those laws define it, and we will not treat you differently for using your rights.

In India, under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can ask to access, correct, complete or erase your data, nominate someone to exercise your rights for you, and raise a grievance with us. If we don’t resolve it, you can approach the Data Protection Board of India.

To use any of these rights, or to raise a privacy concern or grievance, email connect@farevix.com with “Privacy” in the subject line. We will reply within one month, or sooner where the law requires, and may ask you to confirm your identity first.

Children

The site is meant for businesses and professionals. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Links to LinkedIn, GitHub and other sites take you to services with their own privacy policies.

Changes to this policy

We will update this page when our practices change and revise the date at the top. If a change is significant, we will make that clear on the site.
